Waqf secretly sells land in Gurgaon

Adding to the list of organizations losing sight of why they were formed in the first place is the Waqf Board. It has clandestinely sold the land for a graveyard in Banskusla Village, district Gurgaon on similar lines as the Karnal land, details of which were brought to public awareness earlier this year. Advocate Mohammad Rafique Chauhan, President of the Haryana Muslim Khidmat Sabha gave the details of the land as khewat number 350, khatauni number 431, khasra number 54, the year according to the settlement is 2003-04, but the IMT, Manesar, Gurgaon acquired it on 16-07-2005, according to report number 813.
Report number 1233 reveals it was ordered on 27-07-2004. And the matter has come to light only now.
