the eve of the fourth anniversary of fake Batla House encounter protests will include one against
the communalism of Congress, SP and intelligence agencies
Lucknow, 18 September, Batla House fake encounter case
should be judicially inquired into as the killings had a political motive.
A
candlelight march was attended by hundreds of intellectuals condemning continued arrests
of innocent boys in the name of terrorism. They demanded the Batla House encounter be investigated into and held SP accountable for the delay and for not raising the issue in Parliament and the Congress for sleeping over the issue. The demonstraters marched from the GPO, Hazratganj to Gandhi Statue. Leaflets distributed during the event invited the public to a Press Club event the following day to commiserate on the 4th anniversary of the Batla House fake encounter.
